Should I use my dog's current or ideal weight?

Use the ideal weight if your dog is overweight or underweight. Use the Ideal weight calculator if you are not sure.

How many treats can a dog have?

Keep treats and chews under 10% of the daily calories and reduce the main food a little to make room.

How often should a dog eat?

Puppies 3–4 meals a day, adults 2 meals. Weigh your dog every month and adjust the amount by about 10% if the weight changes.
